Physical Education (PE) and School Sports Policy
1. Vision, Mission, Strategy, and Targets
Vision
To nurture a physically active and health-conscious school community where every student
achieves their full potential through active physical education and sports participation.
Mission
To provide high-quality PE and school sports programs that promote lifelong health, well-being,
and personal development among students.
Strategic Objectives
• Integrate physical activity as an essential component of daily school life.
• Ensure equitable access to inclusive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate PE and
sports activities.
• Foster student leadership, teamwork, and resilience through sport and physical activity.
• Build community partnerships that support and enrich the school’s physical activity
offerings.
Targets
• Ensure every student engages in at least 30 minutes of MVPA (moderate- to vigorous-
intensity physical activity) daily through structured PE and sports.
• Increase student participation in extracurricular sports and physical activities by 10%
annually.
• Achieve 100% curriculum coverage aligned with national/international PE standards.
2. Policy Implementation through PE Curriculum and School Sports
Curriculum Integration
• Implement a comprehensive PE curriculum across all grades focused on physical literacy,

3. Strategy to Achieve Daily 30 Minutes of MVPA

6. Replacement Plan for Absence of a Gymnasium
Recognizing the current absence of a dedicated gymnasium, the school is committed to
delivering comprehensive PE experiences through adaptive and flexible solutions:
Alternative Space Utilization
• Use outdoor multipurpose areas (shaded courtyards, hard courts) for PE instruction.
• Conduct indoor movement-based activities in classrooms, halls, or other open indoor
spaces as needed.
Weather-Responsive Scheduling
• Hot Weather Plan: During periods of extreme heat, PE classes will be conducted
indoors.
o Students will participate in low-impact physical activities suitable for confined
spaces (e.g., yoga, stretching, aerobics).o Students will also receive structured health education lessons covering:
