Morning Assembly Policy
Morning Assembly Policy for Parents
Purpose:
The Morning Assembly at Al Ain American School serves as a crucial element in fostering a sense of community, unity, and positive engagement among students, staff, and parents. We welcome parents to join us during these assemblies to share in the spirit of our school community and help build a harmonious bond with one and all. We open doors to parents to come see their children take part in the morning assembly and feel proud of their achievements and performance at school.
Parent Attendance Guidelines:
Notification Requirement:
Parents who wish to attend the Morning Assembly are kindly requested to notify the school staff in advance. This can be done by contacting the teachers on the school platform or sending an email to the administration on [email protected].
Time of Arrival:
Parents should aim to arrive at the school premises well before the scheduled start time of the Morning Assembly to ensure a smooth and non-disruptive entry. Parents who are willing to attend the assembly must arrive by 7:45 am and are welcome to stay for the duration of the assembly and are advised not to stay back after the assembly time.
Photography and Videography:
To respect the privacy and safety of all individuals present during the assembly, parents are strictly prohibited from taking pictures or recording videos during the event. Parents can request for the images of the performances and the morning assembly activities from the teachers or by emailing the administration with an official request on [email protected].
Participation in School Traditions:
Parents are encouraged to actively participate in school activities that may be part of the Morning Assembly program. This involvement contributes to a stronger sense of community and a sense of involvement.
Respecting the school values:
Parents are expected to respect the school policies and procedures while attending the morning assemblies and must take into consideration the morals and values of the school by abiding to the guidelines and refrain from doing things that go against the policies of the school.
Consequences for Violation:
Any violation of the Morning Assembly Policy may result in the school staff politely requesting the parent to leave the premises or, in extreme cases, limiting future attendance opportunities.
Note:
This policy is designed to create a positive and conducive environment for all participants (students, staff and parents). We appreciate the understanding and cooperation of parents in adhering to these guidelines.
