Al Ain American School Shines in 2021 Progress in International Reading Literacy Study Examination Assessment

Al Ain American School has once again proven its commitment to academic excellence through the remarkable performance of its students in the 2021 Progress in International Reading Literacy Study (PIRLS) Examination.

ADEK announced just recently the results of the latest PIRLS online tests that took place in 2021. In Abu Dhabi, more than 10,000 students from Grade 4 (Year 5) participated in PIRLS in the online assessment.

With a score of 500, Al Ain American School students performed higher than the overall average of Abu Dhabi private schools, and all UAE schools, setting a new standard for academic excellence.

Those incredible results have been the cause for a great celebration at Al Ain American School as the participant students showcased their academic prowess by outshining their counterparts in all private US Curriculum schools and MOE private schools in Abu Dhabi region.

The announcement of this exceptional achievement was followed by a very special felicitation ceremony that took place during the morning assembly. The entire school community, including teachers, parents, and staff, came together to celebrate this remarkable achievement and applaud the students for their outstanding performance.
